So special. So unique. We create a small collection of one-of-a-kind bottle vases and super platters generally once or twice per year. All hand thrown from porcelain and high fired to 2300ºF. Each form is unique. The hardest things to do with porcelain, which is a very soft buttery-like clay, is throwing large and throwing delicate. The bulbous forms and skinny necks are a challenging throw every time. The super large platters barely fit in the kiln but are the most stunning statement pieces!
